SEASONS INSIDE

Visual Anthropology - Ethnographic film project

Home: Welcome

Seasons inside is a short ethnographic study using the media of film to portray how one woman engages with her monthly menstrual cycle. This film investigates how engaging with the cycle can be both empowering and insightful. This film was created as part of a visual anthropology project.

ABOUT ME

"I am a third year student studying Human ecology at the University Kent.

This year I took a module called Visual anthropology where i made my first short ethnographic film: Seasons inside.

I feel strongly about menstrual cycle awareness, it brought so much depth and understanding to my own life I wanted to find a way of sharing this knowledge through the creative ethnographic medium of film."
